How much do TikTok ads cost in Saudi Arabia?

The short answer: TikTok has no fixed ad price; you set the budget. In TikTok Ads Manager the minimum is $50 a day per campaign (about 187.5 SAR at the official 3.75 peg) and $20 a day per ad group (about 75 SAR), plus 15% VAT depending on your business. The real cost per thousand views or per click comes from the auction. Across five Saudi beauty and food brands we manage, the blended cost per thousand impressions was 2.37 SAR and a click cost about 0.83 SAR.
TikTok's minimum budgets
From TikTok Ads Manager's budget help page:
- Campaign budget: must exceed $50, daily or lifetime.
- Ad group daily budget: must exceed $20.
- Ad group lifetime budget: the number of days times the daily minimum. TikTok's own example: a 31-day ad group needs at least $620.
TikTok shows these in US dollars. The billing currency depends on your account contract and payment method, so check what is offered when you open the account (supported payment methods).
How the cost is worked out
There is no fixed price per click or view. Ads enter an auction and you choose how to pay (bidding methods):
- CPM: pay per thousand impressions. Good for awareness.
- oCPM: still per thousand impressions, but TikTok shows the ad to people likely to take your action (buy, sign up, install). It is the default for conversion campaigns.
- CPV: pay for a 6-second view or an interaction in those 6 seconds.
- CPC: pay per click.
For a price fixed in advance, Reach & Frequency lets you lock a CPM up to 225 days ahead; the price shows inside Ads Manager or comes from TikTok's sales team (Reach & Frequency). TopView and other premium reservation prices are not published.
Real figures from Saudi accounts
There is no reliable public benchmark for TikTok ad costs in Saudi Arabia, so here are our own account figures, with clients unnamed:
- Five Saudi brands in beauty and food: 278,911 SAR of spend delivered 117.4 million impressions and 337,547 clicks, a blended 2.37 SAR per thousand impressions and about 0.83 SAR per click.
- Best month (August 2026): 8.7 million impressions and 42,208 clicks at 0.65 SAR per click.
- Local creative: Saudi-dialect ads lifted one bakery's click-through rate to 6.62%.

What budget you actually need
Simple arithmetic on our blended figure (2.37 SAR per thousand impressions):
- 3,000 SAR buys roughly 1.27 million impressions. It is an estimate: sector, season, audience and creative all move it.
- One ad group for 30 days at the minimum: $600, about 2,250 SAR before VAT.
In practice the first test month needs enough budget to try at least three to five different ads, because on TikTok the creative sets the cost more than the targeting does.
What raises or lowers the cost
- Creative: vertical video with a strong first two seconds, in a voice close to the audience, clearly lowers cost per click.
- Season: Ramadan, Eid and White Friday raise competition for impressions.
- Objective: purchase campaigns cost more per result than view campaigns, but measure what you care about.
- Tracking: without the TikTok Pixel or Events API the system cannot learn who buys, so costs rise.
VAT and management fees
Saudi VAT is 15%. For digital services from a non-resident supplier, a VAT-registered business accounts for it through the reverse charge, and the supplier adds it for those not registered (PwC's Saudi e-commerce VAT guide). Check your own case with your accountant.
Ad spend is separate from the agency fee. Always ask for the ad account in your company's name, and for the media budget to be shown apart from management and content fees.
In short
TikTok ads in Saudi Arabia start at $50 a day per campaign, but creative and tracking decide the result. The audience is large: DataReportal puts TikTok's ad reach in Saudi Arabia at 38.6 million users aged 18 and over (Digital 2026), a figure for ad audience size rather than an exact count of people.
